It is my goal as a Real Estate Agent to help home buyers feel empowered and knowledgeable about the home buying process.  Purchasing a home is one of the largest financial transactions that most people dive into and many are not sufficiently informed to seamlessly maneuver through this milestone that can be stressful, scary, and exhilarating.  I desire to help people and I aim to alleviate some of the angst that I felt as I was purchasing my first home.

My client’s interests come before my own throughout the task of buying and selling. Through my previous work experience, I have developed the qualities of being a good listener and being detail-oriented.  Additionally, I sincerely care about those who choose to work with me. I am a member of the Durham Regional Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.  I look forward to assisting many home buyers and sellers by preparing them with the necessary tools that lead to stress-free transactions and guiding them through a process that can make dreams come true.

I was raised in Chatham County, North Carolina but have called Durham my home for over 20 years.  Though, I have had a successful career in the Accounting field, I began to feel like it was time for a change.  Too many times fear stops people from pursuing the things that would contribute to their happiness.  After befriending a fellow Real Estate By Design Agent, I decided that the time to make a change had arrived. I activated my NC Real Estate Broker License and set off on a new career path in Residential Real Estate sales.

Some people feel like everyone else knows more than they do when selling or purchasing real estate.  My duty to each client is to assist, support, and maintain the flow of information throughout their real estate transaction, allowing them to feel educated and empowered.
